The master game archive
This page is for you if you want to learn from the games of China's top players: it introduces the study database and 33 of the players in it. The database holds 32,204 games, and 12,003 of them are dated games from Chinese national events between 1990 and 2008. The rest are undated master games, among them about 3,040 engine games, which no figure on this page counts. Every game can be replayed move by move with engine analysis.

Players in the collection
Short profiles of the players in the archive. The Xiangqi Arena team writes each biography from the player's results in the national championships and their own games in the archive. Names appear the way each language's readers know them: Vietnamese readers see the Sino-Vietnamese readings, and Chinese readers see the original hanzi. The win, draw and loss records count each player's games in this collection, one game entry at a time, so they cover the games in this archive only. Each name links to the player's profile, where you can replay games from the archive move by move.

National titles: Women's national individual champion: 1985
高华 (Gao Hua) played for the Anhui team and won the women's national individual championship in 1985. The event had been created only six years earlier, so she was one of its first champions.
Of her 61 games in the archive, only eleven carry a year, all from 1995 to 1998, long after her title. Her most frequent opponent there is Shan Xiali, the 1980 and 1984 champion, with 10 games.
