Players in the collection
Short profiles of the archive’s most significant players, written by our editorial team from public tournament records. Names are shown the way each language community knows them - Vietnamese readers will recognise the Sino-Vietnamese readings, Chinese readers the original hanzi. The win-draw-loss records are computed from each player’s games in this collection, counted per game entry, so they describe the archive rather than a full career. Every name links to a full profile: a researched biography, and famous games from the archive you can replay move by move right on the page.
