You Yingqin, born in Handan, Hebei in 1975, is the 2008 women’s national individual champion and the 2009 women’s world champion, named a grandmaster in 2005. A student of the Hebei coach Liu Dianzhong, her world title formed part of an unbroken run of Chinese women’s world champions.
